David Jones started his career in buses with the West End Bus Service early this century. He moved on to establish the Hermit Park Bus Service in 1949 with his three sons and from there the company has grown from strength to strength.

Still owned by fourth generation Jones family, the Hermit Park Bus Service has progressed and grown under a corporate structure to become Townsville's largest operator of Bus and Coach services to Townsville and North Queensland.

A locally owned and operated company, Hermit Park Bus Service has a fleet of 35 coaches and provides services for urban and school transportation, school excursions, sporting events, charters and tours.
