School Bus Fares and Tickets
All
school students can travel on Hermit Park Bus Service School Buses
regardless of whether they have a Bus Pass or not. Many students
are required to pay a fare for their travel, this leads to children
losing or spending money. For a lot of parents it is a great
concern.
To
combat this problem, we have introduced the sale of two types of
Bulk Tickets. These are Nifty 50's and Multijourneys.
These
tickets are available for purchase from any Driver or from our
office. Drivers do not always carry all types of tickets with them,
but will endeavor to bring a book of tickets out to the child on
the next trip.
Bulk
Tickets have no expiry date! Even if
the fare goes up at the end of the school year, your child can keep
using them. That's an even greater saving for you.
Nifty 50's
Nifty
50's are a book of fifty
tickets,they will last a child five weeks when used each day morning and afternoon.
They consist of five pages of ten tickets which the Driver will
hole-punch as the child boards the bus. Children are encouraged to
write their name and contact details on the back of each page in
case it is lost. Nifty 50 books can be pulled apart so that
children carry only one page at a time. Nifty 50's are sold at a
large discount to all parents.

Multijourneys
Multijourney
ticket books include eleven tickets which the driver will collect
from your child. One book will last your student one week plus one
trip when used each day morning and afternoon. Multijourney books
are sold at a small discount to the parent.
